The enchanting city of Dresden is the capital of Saxony in eastern Germany, and, from our webcam you can see its skyline dominated by its lovingly restored monuments and churches. The city of Dresden lies on the north bank of the Elbe, and the travel webcam shows wide views over the river, and the Augustusbrcke bridge. On the far bank, the live webcam views show the rebuilt churches of the Hofkirke and the Frauenkirche, which are backdropped by the beautiful glass dome of the Fine Arts academy. The whole of old Dresden was razed to the ground in WWII, so it's resurrection now, as seen in on our cam, is something of a miracle.
