Camera Description

Durban lies on the south east Indian Ocean coast of South Africa, and is its busiest port. It is also a major draw for sun seekers, due to warm climes, and the superb quality of its beaches- check them out on our live cam- the long stretches of the Golden Nile are captured well by this elevated webcam.

The travel webcam also pans over the financial and business district, and onto the busy enclosed bay of Durban Harbour. Of course, the cam also takes in the brand new Moses Mabhida Stadium, and its iconic arch, built for the 2010 World Cup.
Tourists are drawn to Durban primarily for the sun and sand, though also because it is a gateway to the Wildlife Reserves further north; as a result, having a look at the weather webcam is recommended for visitors who want to see what the weather is like ahead of their visit.
